Remote Energy Management

In addition to our 'on site' energy audit and energy bench marking offerings we are able to offer a remote audit facility, remote benchmarking and remote energy management services to improve the operation of the building and reduce energy consumption.

This can be particularly useful in meeting the requirements of the EU directives in regard to energy performance and consumption in buildings.

Our remote audit facility enables us to remotely access utility supplier and coupled with additional details such as the building construction, geographic location, 'degree day' data and building usage compile a profile of the customer's site or building.

We carry out detailed analysis of the data obtained and make comparisons (benchmark) with our database models of the actual building against normal expected consumption usage of a building of this type of age, construction etc.

This analysis coupled with where necessary an 'on-site' audit allows us to target specific areas for improvement and energy reduction.

An additional option is remote energy monitoring to allow us to continually assess how the building is performing, make changes and monitor system improvements.

We provide weekly or monthly reports to the customer with comparisons for each monitored period against previous years, weather analysis and system use.

Remote operation allows us to provide pre agreed load shedding routines to ensure peak loads are managed and triad charges minimised.

Any improvements required to the plant and equipment to further reduce consumption would be identified on a pay back business case report including any benefits which the customer can gain from the recovery against the ECA climate law levy charge
